Centre Staff

One of the EPSRC Centre's greatest strengths is its multidisciplinary and highly skilled staff who work together in flexible projects teams, also incorporating selected PhD students, to deliver cutting edge research.

Myles undertook an NVQ Level 3 Maintenance Apprenticeship whilst employed in industry, following which he went on to achieve an HNC. He was awarded his Masters degree in Robotics Engineering by the University of Central Lancashire in 2018.

Prior to joining the Intelligent Automation Centre as a PhD student in January 2019, Myles worked at Fuchs Lubricants (UK) plc in Stoke where he was tasked with maintaining robotic arms and identifying areas which would benefit from automation.

His research interests lie in artificial intelligence and machine learning within industry, manufacturing, design, health and biometrics.
